He is the son of George Joestar and Dio Brando is his adopted brother. An honest, kind, and very positive individual. He practices a martial art technique known as Hamon. [ Appearance ] – He has short black hair, blue eyes, and a very imposing physical build. He stands 195cm tall and is exceptionally muscular. He tends to wear familiar nice, almost formal clothes outside of his uniform, mostly due to his upbringing. [ Personality ] – Due to his physical size, most people are intimidated by Jonathan, which has led him to becoming slightly introverted. He is often calm, gentle, and soft spoken. This my also be caused by the abuse he has suffered at the hands of his brother, whom in spite of all that Dio has done, Jonathan cannot bring himself to hate. The words "gentle giant" describe Jonathan perfectly. [ History ] – As an infant, his mother died in a carriage accident. That same accident indirectly brought Dio Brando into his life, because Dario, Dio's father, unwittingly saved Jonathan's father while he was preparing to steal from the wrecked carriage. Twelve years later, Dario apparently died of illness and Dio went to the Joestars. Jonathan tried as best he could to be a good brother to Dio, but Dio seemed more interested in making Jonathan's life hell, jealous of the good life Jonathan had lived until then. Jonathan turns to studying archeology in order to distract himself from his tumultuous home life. This eventually leads him to Dusk Academy, which he is unaware that George sent Dio to the very same school. [ Pets ] – Jonathan has a harlequin Great Dane named Danny, but left him back at the Joestar home due to his size. [ Other ? ] – Jonathan is an apprentice of a unique martial art known as the Hamon, or Ripple. It is able to give the human body the energy capabilities of the Sun itself. This life energy can be produced and channeled in a number of interesting and creative ways. It is best demonstrated by Jonathan's master, William Antonio Zeppeli, when he punches a frog on a stone in a pond. The stone shatters and the pond ripples violently in reaction to the force, and yet the frog itself remains unharmed. It is controlled by special breathing techniques. Schedule:
